Department of Geography and Lifelong Learning Division organized a joint wokshop about (The History of Geography from Earth Description to Applied Research). The workshop took place at the lecture class in the Dept. of Geography, on October 26. Lect. Dr. Nada Jwad Muhammad elaborated on the role of Applied Geography in the resolution of social and economic problems. Dr. Muhammad also explained the importance of using mathmatics, geographic information system, and remote sensing in high quality research.
